Hi, friends! With the year drawing to a close, I thought that it would be fun to recap some of our highlights from the past 12 months. I pulled together the 15 most popular posts on The Seasoned Mom (based on pageviews alone). Here are the results!
1. Fall Into Fitness: Week 1 and Week 2: These two posts took the top 2 spots. Apparently you guys love a structured workout and meal plan! Stay tuned…there’s another one coming your way SOON — just in time for the New Year!
2. Dump and Bake Meatball Casserole: Easy no-prep dinners reign supreme!
3. Dump and Bake Chicken Taco Casserole: Another effortless weeknight meal!
4. Chicken and Stuffing Casserole: a classic! This recipe was originally published in 2013, but it continues to be very popular! I love to take this meal to friends who have just had a baby. It’s 100% comfort food!
5. French Onion Soup Casserole: This is a great side dish or main course, and it couldn’t be easier! So much delicious cheese and bread!
6. 5-Minute DIY Lip Balm: A simple craft project that’s useful and FAST! These make great little stocking stuffers or teacher gifts.
7. Angel Fluff Salad: Definitely a “dessert salad,” this dish is a fun addition to a potluck or holiday table. Who doesn’t love a side dish that includes marshmallows?
8. My Top 10 Toddler and Little Kid Breakfast Ideas: an oldie, but goodie (look how young Casey was in this picture)! Check out the updated version, too: 10 MORE Favorite Toddler and Little Kid Breakfast Ideas.
9. “No Work” Baked Chicken: Simple, healthy, delicious…and it lives up to its name!
10. Cheddar, Chive & Bacon Biscuits: a tasty twist on my dad’s famous biscuit recipe!
11. Kentucky Hot Brown Sliders: These are incredibly good, and they’re perfect for serving at a party — whether it’s New Year’s Eve or Derby Day! But here’s a tip: make more than you think you’ll need, because they always disappear FAST.
12. Baked Western Omelet: The easiest way to serve eggs to a crowd!
13. Slow Cooker Italian Breakfast Casserole: Game-changer! YES…you can actually make an incredible brunch casserole in the Crock Pot!!
14. {Overnight} Ham, Egg & Cheese Monkey Bread: This is just so darn fun, and bonus: you can prep it the night before (meaning, extra sleep in the morning)!!
15. Egg and Cheese Mini Muffins: This recipe goes back to the early days of the blog, but it’s still a reader favorite. In fact, I continue to receive praise for the recipe on a regular basis…it’s a must-make — especially if you have little kids at home!
So there you have it! Did YOUR favorites make the list? I’m always kind of surprised to see what posts grab the most traction over the years. I have so many more great posts coming your way in 2016, and thank you (from the bottom of my heart) for reading!
