These are the pork chop recipes I make when supper needs to be quick, simple, and something the family will actually eat. Some come together in about 30 minutes, some go in the slow cooker with 5 minutes of prep, and some need nothing more than a handful of pantry ingredients.

I usually buy pork chops when they go on sale and freeze what I don’t need for the week, so this list is where I turn when I’ve got a pack thawing and no plan for dinner. Whatever kind of easy your night calls for, one of these will fit it.

What Makes These “Easy”

Every recipe in the list below meets at least one of these:

  • 30 min or less — total time from start to plate
  • 📋 10-min prep — hands-on work of 10 minutes or less
  • 🧂 5 ingredients or less — short shopping list, mostly pantry staples

Some recipes check all three boxes. Look for the tags next to each recipe and pick the kind of easy that fits your night.

Slow Cooker Pork Chops

Five minutes of chopping, then the slow cooker turns pork, potatoes, carrots, and mushrooms into a full dinner with a rich gravy. This is my “I forgot to plan dinner” recipe.

Pan Fried Pork Chops

The chop that started this whole obsession. 5 ingredients, a hot skillet, and about 20 minutes gets you a golden, juicy pork chop that tastes like Sunday supper on a Tuesday.

Oven Baked Pork Chops

A pantry-staples marinade of Italian dressing, brown sugar, and Dijon does all the work. Whisk it together, pour it over the chops, and let the oven handle the rest.

Pork Chop and Rice Casserole

Ten minutes of prep and you don’t open the oven once. The rice and chops bake together in cream of mushroom soup and onion seasoning until it tastes like Sunday supper.

Crock Pot Ranch Pork Chops

A packet of ranch dressing mix, a can of cream of chicken soup, and the slow cooker does the rest. Serve the chops and creamy ranch gravy over mashed potatoes or noodles.

Grilled Pork Chops + Seasoning

Fifteen minutes total, start to finish. Mix the seasoning blend, coat the chops, and grill. That’s it. It’s the recipe I make when it’s too hot to turn on the oven.

Baked BBQ Pork Chops

Pan-seared for color, then finished in the oven with a brush of BBQ sauce. 30 minutes total and the tops caramelize into the sticky, sweet finish everyone reaches for first.

Baked Pork Chops with Apples

Everything goes in one dish: chops, stuffing mix, apples, onions. Cover with foil, bake, and pull out a full dinner. Cozy, low-effort, and it feels like more work than it was.
📋 10-min prep

Pork Chops with Apple Cider Gravy

Five ingredients, one skillet, thirty minutes. The Dijon and apple cider come together into a quick pan sauce that tastes like something you’d order at a restaurant.

Crock Pot Smothered Pork Chops

Coca Cola Pork Chops

Four ingredients including the Coke. The soda reduces with barbecue sauce into a sticky glaze that’s Southern-weeknight magic. Twenty minutes, one skillet, done.

Peach Pork Chops

Crock Pot Bacon & Onion Pork Chops

Smoky bacon and onion melt into a rich gravy while the chops go tender in the slow cooker. Add apples if you like. Serve over biscuits or rice.

Apricot Glazed Pork Chops

Apricot preserves, Dijon, and a splash of soy sauce. That’s the whole glaze. Five minutes of prep, forty in the oven, and the chops come out sweet-savory and glossy.
📋 10-min prep • 🧂 5 ingredients or less

Pork Chops, Rice, & Mushroom Sauce

Rice and chops cook together in one skillet with a creamy mushroom sauce. It’s the kind of dinner you’ll make once and add to the weekly rotation.

How I Keep Pork Chop Dinners Simple

A handful of small things I’ve learned that make pork chop dinners come together with even less thought.

⇢ Buy the family pack. Pork chops go on sale often, and the big packs are almost always the better deal. I split them into meal-size portions, wrap them tight, and freeze what I don’t need for the week. That’s two or three future dinners already handled.

⇢ Portion for how you cook. Two chops per bag if you cook for a couple, four if you’re feeding the family. Label the bag with the date. When it’s time to thaw, you’re pulling out the exact amount instead of prying frozen chops apart at 5 p.m.

⇢ Prep the sauce or seasoning the night before. Most of these recipes have a sauce, marinade, or seasoning blend that keeps just fine in the fridge overnight. Whisk it together while you’re cleaning up dinner and future-you has one less step in the morning.

⇢ Lean on sides that don’t need attention. Rice cooker rice, a bag of frozen microwave-in-bag vegetables, a quick green salad, or biscuits from a can. When the main is already easy, the sides should match.

If you have time, a quick brine is a bonus.

Not required, and definitely not “easy” if you don’t have the hour to spare. But if you’re prepping ahead anyway, my Garlic and Rosemary Pork Chop Brine locks in extra moisture and flavor. Skip it if the whole point is speed.

Save this list for the next time pork chops are on sale or you find yourself staring at a package in the fridge wondering what to do with it.

Whatever kind of easy your night needs, one of these will fit. I’d love to know which one becomes your new go-to.
