Indulge in the comforting tastes of the holiday season with a dairy-free, egg-free Peppermint Dairy Free Eggnog Protein Shake! It's a cool, creamy, and energizing easy breakfast or snack option to see you through the busiest time of year!

Hi, friends! I know, I know...it's not even Thanksgiving yet! BUT...have you seen what's on store shelves already?!

An overhead shot of silk nog used to make dairy free eggnog

I was so excited to spot Silk Nog in my local grocery store again, because in my mind it's never too early to start enjoying a warmly-spiced glass of holiday cheer! Plus, this year Silk expanded its seasonal holiday line-up with two new Almond Nogs, so in addition to the original Silk Nog you can also find Silk Almond Nog Pumpkin Spice and Silk Almond Nog Original.

I have tried all of them (of course!), and they are all delicious. I'm currently loving a splash of the Almond Nog Pumpkin Spice in a mug of my pumpkin spice coffee each morning!

Best of all, Silk Holiday Nogs have 80 calories or less per serving, and they are a delicious yet dairy- free seasonal nog!

Eggnog was a traditional holiday staple in our home when I was growing up, and I especially remember my dad and my little brother sipping on it for dessert on Christmas. As an adult, I still love the notes of nutmeg and cinnamon, and the smooth velvety flavor of eggnog...but I don't love the calories and fat that come along with the traditional beverage.

Enjoy This Dairy Free Eggnog Without The Guilt

Thanks to Silk's Nogs, I can raise a festive glass or two without feeling naughty because it’s made without eggs, dairy or saturated fat! With nutritional stats like Silk's, I'm even enjoying my Nog for breakfast and snack in the form of this protein shake -- and in doing so I'm making my muscles, my waistline, my sweet tooth, and my fond childhood memories very happy!!

This was not very good. It is my opinion that peppermint and egg nog flavors should be kept separate after drinking this smoothie. I think perhaps just a regular almond milk base (without the aprons of nutmeg and cinnamon), might have been better.
