Some of my favorite cookware tools are on sale right now for President’s Day weekend, including deals on kitchen appliances and gadgets from household names like KitchenAid. Plus, ceramic dishes and cast iron pans from Le Creuset and Staub – two iconic brands that take up a lot of real estate in my kitchen cupboards – are included in these President’s Day kitchen sales.

After combing through the discounts available, I’ve compiled a list of 19 of the stand-out offers that I found on kitchen must-haves. However, if you’re looking for deals on home products, the Macy’s President’s Day sales event is worth checking out, Houzz has up to 80% off decor, and Home Depot is running a huge sale on appliances.

These indoor grill pans normally sell for as much as $205 (depending on what color you get), so this President’s Day sale saves you around $85! It’s the pan that I use for the majority of my indoor grilling (check out my garlic and herb chicken recipe or my grilled scallops)!

5. Staub 4-Piece Ceramic Baking Dish Set

At $99, this is an unheard-of low rate for these 3 ceramic dishes (they’re counting the lid as the 4th “piece”). Still, the square baking dish alone normally retails for more than all 3 of these combined, and they’re really reliable cookware.

  1. I recommend Staub cookware and appreciate your links to these sales!

About 10 years ago, I purchased a 5-qt Staub Cocotte (a Dutch oven with lid, made of cast iron with a ceramic layer on the outside). It is very heavy so you get a workout using it. This is my go-to pot for any dish involving braising, such as short ribs or chuck roast for stew or pork shoulder. I take good care of it by hand-washing and drying with paper towels, then lightly oiling the inside and placing in the oven while it is cooling (to finish drying completely and help the oil maintain the cast iron lining). I consider this pot and lid as family heirloom quality. It’s pretty too — mine is their dark red “Grenadine” color.

I bought it by mail-order, on sale at $169, which seemed like a fortune! I think it was from “cooking enthusiast” which appears to be gone now. The Staub company website has only the 7 qt size, listed there at $329 (on sale!). I found the 5 qt on Amazon for $169, the same as I paid years ago. Here’s the link:

If Staub products are sold cheaper elsewhere — like Nordstrom in your wonderful head’s up bulletin here — it is a godsend. Staub makes incredible cookware and it is worth it.

Blair, I just saw your link to the 5 qt Staub Cocotte I wrote about. Excuse me for not noticing and going on about it. The Zwilling sale looks terrific! Their price for the Grenadine color is the same as the Amazon price (more than for the black, white, or cherry color for some reason). Very nice to see these available at discounts.
