In about 3 minutes you can stir together this easy 3-Ingredient Chocolate Cake Batter Dip! It’s a delicious, fast, and kid-friendly party appetizer, sweet treat, or special after-school snack for all of your favorite little people!

Can you believe that it’s almost time to head back to school? With busy schedules and long days on the horizon, I thought that it would be appropriate to show you one of the fastest, easiest, and most-loved recipes in my repertoire. This fluffy, chocolatey dip makes a fun after-school snack or a great finger food for your child’s next birthday party!

This recipe actually came about as a happy accident. When I was experimenting in the kitchen and developing my favorite Chocolate Zucchini Cake, I licked the bowl (and the spatula), as I always do when I’m preparing cake batter. How can you NOT lick the bowl?!

I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that the batter didn’t have any raw eggs or other harmful ingredients in it, making it perfectly acceptable to consume…baked or not baked!

That’s when I decided to whip up another batch of the cake batter, but this time without the zucchini. And guess what? These 3 basic pantry staples come together easily and result in a light, protein-packed treat that’s just begging to be paired with some fresh fruit, graham crackers, or little cookies.

How could any child (or adult) argue with a dip that’s basically rich, fudgy cake batter? And how can any mom argue with a recipe that comes together in one bowl and about 3 minutes? Trust me: this one’s a winner!
