To accompany our winter theme this week, the kids and I have been enjoying books about snow, snowmen, and tractors in the snow. And while we’ve had fun with the 70+ degree temperatures and time on the playgrounds, we’d really love some snow outside as well. For now, we’ll just read about it…

Love these illustrations! When Winter Comes by Nancy Van Laan and illustrated by Susan Gaber:

And a fun snowman book that my mother-in-law gave us a couple of years ago — The Snowbelly Family of Chillyville Inn by Cheryl Hawkinson:

Finally, a library book that the boys love, of course, because it involves a tractor (and snow!). We’ve checked it out on more than one occasion —  Tractor in Trouble by Heather Amery and Stephen Cartwright:

Happy lap time!
