Thanks to our amazing friends and family, Gibbs had his dream third birthday party this weekend – and loved every minute. It was all about trucks, trucks, trucks!
First, the food and decorations:
Truck Garland:
Party Favors:
The Table:
Big Rig Centerpiece (with “Dirt and Wheel” Pudding Cups nestled in the cars):
Pretzel “Wheel” Snack Mix:
Pesto “Wheel” Pasta Salad:
Veggie Trucks:
Pizza:
and a Truck cake:
There was a truck pinata,
which the boys were happy to whack,
while the girls were a bit more gentle.
Ultimately, we had to bring in the big guns in order to get the thing open. Enter, Uncle Kevin:
and a slow pitch from Uncle Jeff:
Until finally, we had candy.
And what did Casey do throughout the afternoon? Eat. As far as I can tell from the photographic evidence, Casey marched from one person to next collecting as much candy as possible.
Starting with Uncle Kevin:
and on to Mommy:
Then Aunt Tina:
and his grandmother:
With a little break in there for reading.
Gibbs loved his presents and the opportunity to celebrate with his favorite people.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for making the occasion so special!
What a fun party! I love the truck cake and the veggie trucks. When did you find the time?
Thanks, Joyce! We had a great time, and it’s so fun that Gibbs is finally old enough to appreciate the celebration!
Great job on your party! I was wondering, where did you buy the pinata?
Hi Lisa! Thanks! I ordered the pinata online from Party City. Here’s the link: https://www.partycity.com/product/dump+truck+pinata+18in+x+7in.do
