Step away from the candy…these healthy, fruity concoctions are the perfect breakfast or snack treat for your little goblins this season. Jack-O-Lantern Smoothies combine the fresh flavors of peaches, bananas, and orange juice in a Halloween treat that no child can resist!ย

Jack o lantern smoothies

It’s almost October! Have I held off long enough??? Let the Halloween fun begin around here!

I’m actually NOT going to get holiday crazy on you this month, but I do have a few fun ideas up my sleeve…starting with these AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS smoothies! Whether it’s Halloween or not, this recipe has absolutely become my family’s favorite year-round cold beverage! They are perfectly smooth, perfectly creamy, perfectly refreshing, and perfectly orange like a pumpkin! In short, they’re perfect.

My boys hung around while I was snapping a few photos, anxious to give these a try. Literally, as soon as I gave them the go-ahead, they sucked them down so fast that they certainly didn’t look up to pose for the camera, and they soon complained about their brain freeze!

Keith was equally smitten and took a tall glass with him on the tractor while he cut the grass. Sorry there’s no pic of the drinking and driving!

These goodies are a must-make for your Halloween parties, breakfasts, or snacks. They will help to combat all of the junk and sugar that our kids will also be consuming!

Jack o lantern smoothies 2

Here’s the 2-minute recipe…and please note: this creates two large smoothies, or four smaller servings. And to make the Jack-O-Lantern cups, I just used a black Sharpie marker to draw on a clear plastic cup. Easy and fun! The green straw is a stem. ๐Ÿ™‚
