Hey, friends! As I mentioned in Sunday’s Weekend Recap, we went on a Double Date on Saturday night and I’m back today to share all of the juicy details!

Blair and Mollie

Keith and I have been loving Lobsterfest over the past few months, so when we were ready for a night out on the town again we decided to bring along our buddies Mollie and John Paul for a double date! We left our boys with the babysitters and then we all piled into Mollie’s van to head to Charlottesville for a seafood feast at Red Lobster.

I started the night off right with some bubbly…

while Mollie had a mojito (extra lime juice, please)!

Cocktails in hand, we moved right on to our appetizers. Red Lobster is great for a date night because there are so many options on the menu that are perfect for sharing!

Mollie and John Paul

Mollie and John Paul went with the Langostino Lobster-Artichoke-and-Seafood Dip, which our waitress said was one of the BEST choices. How could it not be, right?! It was loaded with Langostino lobster, seafood, artichokes and spinach in a creamy, three-cheese blend, and served with warm tortilla chips and fresh pico de gallo. This was a large portion, so Keith and I joined in the fun as well.

For our shareable appetizer, Keith and I went with a classic (and one of our favorites) — raw oysters on the half shell. Is there any better date night food?!

Each of our dinners came with salads to start, and then for the main course Keith enjoyed the lobster tacos + an extra lobster tail on the side because…#Lobsterworthy!

and I tried something new from the specials menu: wood-fire grilled tilapia with broccoli and (those dreamy and garlicky) roasted green beans with tomatoes. Delicious!!

Between the Cheddar Bay Biscuits, the appetizers, the salads, the entrees, and the booze, it’s safe to say that we were STUFFED by the end of the evening! We didn’t have any room for dessert, but we lingered long after our meal as we laughed and chatted with our friends. Such a fun break from the routine and a great way to spend a date night!

Did you guys know that April 23rd is Lovers Day?! That means that you and your special someone should head to Red Lobster for your very own date night! Be sure to include the hashtag #lobsterworthy when you share your experience on social media!

I’m sharing #lobsterworthy moments in my life as part of a Red Lobster sponsored series for Socialstars™.
