Did you all see my post last week about the Cuisinart Baby Food Maker giveaway? (You can find it here) ย I can’t tell you how great this thing is! If you haven’t already, head on over to that post and leave a comment (as directed) so that you can be entered to win one of these beauties for yourself! It has made my healthy, homemade baby food preparation easy and FAST!
Now, since I can’t get enough of my baby food maker, I thought I’d share yet another recipe for Easy Homemade Baby Food: Blueberry Peach Puree.

I love to take advantage of seasonal ingredients in my cooking, so Spence was treatedย to a tasty combination of some of our favorite summer fruits. Fresh from the source, we picked up these blueberries at our local farmers’ market over the weekend:
The house smelled AMAZING while the Cuisinart Baby Food Maker was steaming the fruit! Kind of like the smell of a fresh berry pie baking in the oven…only this is a bit healthier!
Spence liked the mild taste ofย the Summer Squash & Oatmeal puree that I made him first, but this sweet blend is really good. Like, so good that I ended upย eating the left-overs from his bowl! It’s sweet, but not super-sweet like some of the store bought purees (have you ever tasted those packaged banana purees?! WOW…so sweet they make my mouth pucker!). This blueberry-peach “sauce” would be really tasty stirred into yogurt at breakfast, too.
Here’s our simple recipe:
