Summer is a time for picnics, cookouts, and outdoor adventures! When paired with fresh produce, this 5-Minute Fruit Dip is a light and healthy snack to fuel your fun and satisfy your sweet tooth!

Dipping a strawberry into a fresh fruit dip

This post for 5-Minute Poolside Fruit Dip is sponsored by Wasa, but all opinions are my own. Thanks for supporting the brands that we love!

If you’ve enjoyed fruit dip in the past, then you’ve probably tried those overly sweet versions that are full of things like marshmallow fluff, flavored gelatin, or whipped topping.

Not here! I made it my mission to create an equally tasty and creamy dip with none of the fake stuff!

Instead, my healthier fruit dip is sweetened only with a touch of honey and uses other natural ingredients. It’s a treat that you can enjoy at the pool (in your bathing suit) with no regrets!

Ingredients for Making Yogurt Fruit Dip

  • Cream Cheese – I used low fat to make this dip lighter
  • Greek Yogurt – use a good quality brand for best results
  • Honey – just regular honey or use your favorite
  • Lemon juice – fresh lemon juice is best
  • Crackers – serve with your favorite crackers I like to use graham crackers or cookies

How to Make this Easy Fruit Dip

  1. Place cream cheese in a large bowl and use an electric mixer to beat on low speed until creamy and smooth.
  2. Slowly add the yogurt and continue to beat until well combined.
  3. Add honey, lemon juice, and lemon zest; beat until combined and smooth.
  4. Cover the dip and place in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.
  5. Remove from fridge and serve with fruit and crackers for dipping.

What to Serve it With?

I love to serve this fruit dip with berries such as strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. Fresh berries are best as frozen will be too soft for dipping.

You could also serve fruits such as apples, bananas, orange segments, and melon. The list is endless so choose your favorites and enjoy!

Tip: Why not add your fruit to wooden skewers for serving!

Different Variations to Try

If you’d like to change it up and experiment with different flavors then why not add a splash of your favorite fruit juice?

Orange or pineapple would work really well. You can also finely dice some strawberries and fold them through the fruit dip for an extra fruity kick.

Top Tips for Making the Best Fruit Dip

  • Make sure that your cream cheese is at room temperature to avoid lumps
  • Use a good quality yogurt for best results. I use plain and add my own honey and lemon juice.
  • I like to refrigerate this dip for a couple of hours so it firms up before serving.
  • Bring out of the fridge right before serving.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for 2-3 days, I don’t recommend you freeze this as the texture will change and lose its creaminess.
