It isnโ€™t all holding-hands and singing kumbaya around here. In fact, since the day Casey was born, I have often felt as though my part-time job is Household Referee. I break up a lot of little squabbles, especially because Little Brother wants to have exactly the same thing that Big Brother has ALL OF THE TIME. Whether itโ€™s shoes, trucks, food, beverage, you get the point. Letโ€™s just say that Gibbs often loses patience with all of it.

Wheee!!! Gibbs on the gas while Casey โ€œsteers.โ€ They may haveย run intoย a tree, shed, fenceโ€ฆ

However, when they figure out how to have fun together, life with a brother sure is fun!

Maybe itโ€™s because of the stress of the past 18 months, or maybe all parents with multiple children feel this way, but I cannot express how it warms my heart when I see my two boys genuinely enjoying each otherโ€™s company and becoming friends. As they both get older, there are more and more of these moments. And it sure is sweet!
