When I was shopping in Michaelโ€™s a few weeks ago, I saw these wooden snowflake ornaments that cost less than $1 a piece. I snagged a few and knew Iโ€™d find a good use for them.

Some glue and a couple of jars of glitter turned the dull wooden snowflakes into shimmering ornaments that my boys will give as gifts! I helped to spread glue on the top of each ornament and then allowed the kids to sprinkle the snowflakes with silver and gold glitter.

Gibbs had so much fun with this project. It was easy enough for him to do alone, but they look impressive when theyโ€™re hanging on the tree.

After bringing our ornaments (and our glittery clothes) inside, our house is now glowing both inside and out!
