Happy Easter weekend, everyone! Weโ€™re looking forward to celebrating the holiday with family, and to welcoming some spring weather with open arms. But first, a few pics from the last weekโ€ฆ

Backs

We have two super heroes in this house. One who takes his job very seriouslyโ€ฆ

and one who is never serious. About anything.

They have been practicing their flying (with a few resulting injuries)โ€ฆ

and passing the time with some of their favorite springtime activities.

They spent an afternoon sitting on our fence watching the farmer across the street spreading seed to grow hay.

Tractor

In Caseyโ€™s world, the only thing more exciting is when the farmer comes back to bale the hay. Thereโ€™s just nothing better than watching that round bale pop out of the back of the baler. Nothing, I tell you.

We also spent some time hiking the trails at Montpelier this week, where there were little signs of the season popping up everywhere. Despite our winter attire, we saw many daffodils and little flowers throughout the woods and gardens (and we may have even picked a few when Mom wasnโ€™t looking).

But the ultimate sign of spring? Even more so than the hay seed and the daffodils? The babies right next door!

Baby Goat

My heart melts every time I see these little guys. Itโ€™s all I can do to not scoop one up and bring him inside with me. For now, I just talk to them over the fence. A lot.

Hi there, little one! Hi sweet mama!

This warmer weather even has the bigger goats frolicking around the fieldsโ€ฆand smiling from ear to ear!

Have a great weekend, folks!
