Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Place in a large bowl or Ziploc bag. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.
In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, thyme, oregano, and cayenne.
Sprinkle the seasoning blend over the chicken and toss to coat.
Arrange the chicken on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 175-180°F on an instant-read meat thermometer. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped fresh herbs.
