5-Ingredient Chicken Parmesan Sandwich

Instructions

  • Bake the chicken patties in the oven or air fryer according to package directions.
    Baking frozen chicken patties.
  • When the chicken is done, top each piece with about 2 tablespoons (or up to ¼ cup) of marinara sauce.
    Spreading marinara on top of chicken patties.
  • Sprinkle about ¼ cup shredded mozzarella and 1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan on top of each piece of chicken.

  • Switch the oven to BROIL. Place the chicken under the broiler for about 1-3 minutes, just until the cheese melts.
  • Serve the patties on toasted rolls or Italian bread.

Notes

  • Instead of packaged, shredded mozzarella, use sliced fresh mozzarella or sliced provolone cheese on top of the chicken.
  • Serve the chicken parm over ziti, spaghetti, or penne pasta instead of in sandwich rolls.
  • Make as many (or as few) sandwiches as you need. This meal can easily be tweaked to serve just one or two people!
