Experience
A born-and-raised Virginian, Blair has been a recipe developer, writer, and photographer for almost 13 years. She has appeared on local Richmond CBS television morning show cooking segments; her work has been published in numerous magazines including Taste of Home, Farmhouse Style, and Taste of the South; and her recipes are regularly featured online for sites such as Parade, Womanโs World, Fox News, and Brit+Co.
Her first print book, The Seasoned Mom Cookbook, is scheduled for release in late 2025.
Blair is a wife and a mom to three teenage boys, a sister, and a proud aunt to 8 nieces and nephews. A former Division I college soccer player and avid horseback rider, she now enjoys watching her sons play soccer and golf, Pilates classes, long walks with friends, and curling up with a good book, a blanket, and her Yorkshire terrier, Teddy.
Why the Recipes Work
Blair believes that meals don’t have to be fussy or fancy to taste delicious. As a working mom and experienced home cook, she draws inspiration from the meals that she grew up on, and from the recipes that friends and family share when gathered around a potluck table or chatting over coffee.
These are the favorites that have been enjoyed for years, and that suit our busy lives. They come together quickly, take advantage of easy-to-find ingredients, and won’t break the bank. Most importantly, they are always incredibly flavorful!
When developing new recipes, Blair tests them multiple times in her own kitchen. These dishes must “work” every time, and must get the stamp of approval from her (very honest) taste-testers. She aspires to provide the highest quality content, complete with easy-to-follow instructions and mouthwatering step-by-step photos. Blair wants your limited time to be well spent preparing tasty, easy meals that you are proud to serve your loved ones.
