Ingredients

  • (8 ounce) package 1/3 Less Fat Cream Cheese, softened at room temperature
  • 8 ounces plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1-2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Fruit, crackers, graham crackers or cookies, for dipping

Instructions

  • Place cream cheese in a large bowl and use an electric mixer to beat on low speed until creamy and smooth.
  • Slowly add the yogurt and continue to beat until well combined.
  • Add honey, lemon juice, and lemon zest; beat until combined and smooth.
  • Cover the dip and place in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Remove from fridge and serve with fruit and crackers for dipping.

Notes

  • Make sure that your cream cheese is at room temperature to avoid lumps
  • Use a good quality yogurt for best results. I use plain and add my own honey and lemon juice.
  • I used nonfat plain Greek yogurt, but any variety will work
  • This recipe yields 2 cups of dip. For a larger crowd, I recommend doubling the ingredients.
  • I like to refrigerate this dip for a couple of hours so it firms up before serving.
  • Bring out of the fridge right before serving.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for 2-3 days, I don't recommend you freeze this as the texture will change and lose its creaminess.
