No-Knead Overnight Bread

  • 6 cups flour whole wheat or combination
  • 3 cups warm water
  • 1 packet yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon honey


  • Place warm water in a bowl and add yeast. Allow to sit for a few minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, and honey. Pour water/yeast mixture into flour mixture and stir until well combined.
  • Drizzle your hands with olive oil and form dough into a ball. Cover dough and place in refrigerator overnight.
  • The next day, preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Place dutch oven inside the heating oven until it is also hot.
  • Remove dough ball from refrigerator, drizzle with olive oil, and place in warm dutch oven, cover, and bake for about 30 minutes. Remove lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
