1 (8 ounce) package 1/3 Less Fat Cream Cheese, softened at room temperature 8 ounces plain Greek yogurt ¼ cup honey 1-2 tablespoons lemon juice Fruit, crackers, graham crackers or cookies, for dipping
Place cream cheese in a large bowl and use an electric mixer to beat on low speed until creamy and smooth.
Slowly add the yogurt and continue to beat until well combined.
Add honey, lemon juice, and lemon zest; beat until combined and smooth.
Cover the dip and place in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.
Remove from fridge and serve with fruit and crackers for dipping.
Make sure that your cream cheese is at room temperature to avoid lumps
Use a good quality yogurt for best results. I use plain and add my own honey and lemon juice.
I used nonfat plain Greek yogurt, but any variety will work
This recipe yields 2 cups of dip. For a larger crowd, I recommend doubling the ingredients.
I like to refrigerate this dip for a couple of hours so it firms up before serving.
Bring out of the fridge right before serving.
Store leftovers in the fridge for 2-3 days, I don't recommend you freeze this as the texture will change and lose its creaminess.
