Ingredients

  • For the Muffins:
  • 1 18 ounce package King Arthur Flour's Essential Goodness Cinnamon Sugar Puff Muffin Mix
  • 1 stick 8 tablespoons butter, melted or 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • For the Topping:
  • 1/2 stick 4 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F/190°C. Lightly grease or line with muffin papers one standard or two mini muffin pans.
  • Stir together muffin mix, butter or oil, milk, and eggs until well combined; scrape bowl as needed.
  • Divide batter evenly between the muffin cups (each should be about half full).
  • Bake standard muffins for 12-16 minutes (mini muffins for 8-10 minutes), or until muffin centers feel firm and a cake tester comes out clean.
  • Cool for 15 minutes, then remove from pan.
  • Place melted butter and cinnamon sugar mix (from box) in separate small, shallow bowls. Dip muffins in butter then roll in cinnamon sugar.
