It’s the first day of Spring! And when I think of spring meals, ham is often at the top of my list. I know that a lot of families enjoy ham for Easter, but it’s also a really great alternative to beef or chicken for a regular, weeknight dinner. While buying a ham is pricier than just buying a few chicken breasts, I promise that the meat will stretch a long way and you will be able to enjoy your efforts for many, many meals.

This recipe for Slow-Cooked Honey Glazed Ham is incredibly easy, but it tastes really delicious. The meat stays juicy, while the sauce serves as a perfectly sweet contrast to the salty, smoky ham.

I cook the ham all day in my slow cooker, which frees up my oven for other dishes and allows me to have a relaxing evening without worrying about what’s for supper. We first enjoyed this ham with a side of Overnight Mac and Cheese, but the left-overs will also appear in soups and sandwiches to come!
