Hi, friends! It’s time for another fun list of Stuff We Love! Here’s what we’re enjoying at the moment…
As always, none of these products are sponsored — they’re just items that we have in our home and wanted to share with you! Disclosure: This post may contain affiliate links. Women’s C9 Champion® Athletic Ankle Socks: I know…exciting, right?! But really, I did a little happy dance last month when I tried these socks on after a shopping excursion at Target. I seem to have so much trouble finding lightweight, soft, stretchy athletic socks that don’t slip and are the right height. These are my new favorite…by far! I’m buying more soon!
Outshine Simply Yogurt Bars and Outshine Fruit Bars: These frozen sweet treats are a fun snack or a tasty way to end a meal. The kids and I love both the yogurt bars and all of the various fruit bar flavors. Perfect cold refreshment this season!
Ultra Stomp Rocket: Casey got this toy from my Aunt Barbara for his birthday and it has been a huge hit. Simple, outdoor fun!
LOFT Lightweight Scarf: I bought this scarf last spring and I have used it so much over the past few months. It might seem silly to share a scarf during the hot summer, but this is made from very lightweight material and it’s ideal for taking the chill off in an air conditioned office or house. Plus, it’s a really easy and affordable way to dress up a basic tee or plain outfit.
GEFU Spirelli Spiral Slicer: My mom gave me this spiralizer a few months ago and I’ve had a lot of fun experimenting with it in the kitchen. Do zucchini noodles replace regular pasta in my house? Heck no! I don’t think that my husband and sons would be on board with that idea. BUT, it’s a great way to present unfamiliar veggies in a more familiar shape. Put some marinara sauce, butter, or pesto on zucchini, squash, or carrot noodles and I bet your kids will love them!
Lite Brite: Remember these?! Keith and I both had a good laugh when his mom gave Casey the updated version of this retro toy for his birthday. Casey and Gibbs have both spent a lot of time creating their own designs with all of the colorful pegs. I love that it’s affordable and portable, making it a great gift for a friend or a nice companion for a hotel room or car trip if you’re traveling this summer.
Homemade Iced Mocha!: Not a product, but definitely something I’m enjoying right now. Instead of my hot, foamy, homemade lattes, I’ve switched to these delicious iced mochas recently. They’re refreshing and easy! I just brew a strong cup of coffee and stir in 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder. Then I place the coffee in the refrigerator to chill until I need it. When I’m ready to drink the mocha, I pour it over ice and add plenty of Chocolate Soy or Almond Milk. Healthy, tasty, and fast!
Silicone Lego Molds and Ice Cube Trays: One of Gibbs’s preschool teachers sent me a link to these Lego molds because she knew that they would be a big hit in our house. She was right! Of course I bought them and we’ve had fun making Lego ice cubes and Lego Jell-O bricks. You can also make candy with these molds, but I’m not that adventurous.
