We had a big storm roll through here last night, so the low-lying areas on our property had quite a bit of standing water today. I was out of the house this morning for a meeting at my office, so the kids were cooped up inside with the babysitter for a few hours. As a mom of two boys, I know that fresh air = better behavior (notice I didn’t say “Good Behavior”…just better!). Therefore, as soon as I walked in the door (and before I even changed out of my “work clothes”), I dressed the kids in their boots and their coats and headed outdoors. Naturally, they gravitated to the water…
