Lightened Up Broccoli Salad

Did you see my post last month when I shared My Top 10 Must-Haves for the Perfect Backyard Cookout? Well #8 on that list was Delicious Sides…a very important component to any gathering!

After all, when you’re serving tasty, high-quality meat right off the grill, you need something equally special to go along with it.

We love these Ball Park Park’s Finest premium beef hotdogs because they are packed with big, bold flavors and infused with premium seasoning you can see.

These hotdogs are made with 100 percent beef and contain no artificial preservatives, no artificial flavors, colors or fillers, and have no nitrates or nitrites added. They’re also available in five great-tasting, bold varieties including Jalapeno Cheddar, Slow Cooked Chili, Cracked Dijon Mustard, Slow Smoked Hickory and Signature Seasoned.

I served the Slow Smoked Hickory hotdogs for this particular meal because I think that the salty, smoky flavor pairs perfectly with the sweet and tangy dressing on this salad.

A delicious grilled hotdog, a fresh salad, and a tall glass of iced tea is my definition of SUMMER. Don’t let the season slip away without treating yourself to at least one more fun and tasty cookout!

Do you love to grill and host cookouts during the summer as much as we do?

On August 13th, Ball Park brand set the Guinness World Record for the Longest Team Barbecue Marathon after grilling for 34 hours and 35 minutes in New York City! Finest Grillathon winners, Andrew Battistelli and Susan Bulloch, along with Food Network chef Tyler Florence, grilled more than 3,000 Ball Park Park’s Finest Hot Dogs which were donated to City Harvest, a food rescue organization. Such a fun (and beneficial) event! Curious? You can check out a video of the event here!
